  Absolutely fantastic place to stay ! Was ideal , 10 minute walk to seafront and all amenities . Towels , body boards , bucket and spades available for beach days... read more and gas bbq /fire pit for afternoons and evenings in . Large accommodation space with plenty of beds and rooms . Large fridge/freezer with cold water and ice on tap . Fantastic place for catering group of friends or large party without tripping over each other . Would certainly recommend to others and stay there again ! Easy check in and out and secure parking ideal for motorbikes or scooters

  Dreamland Cottage… where to start?
Firstly, we had such a lovely, wholesome trip to Margate.

The cottage was the most perfect base for us, 2 x mum friends,... read more 2 x 19 month old babies and a 10 year old. The cottage is deceiving large, all the bedrooms are great sizes. The decor is so beautiful, it has given me great inspiration. The place was spotless on arrival and the kitchen had every utensil you could ever need on your break away!

The house was super easy to find, particularly with the host’s directions. The cottage is gated which made us feel really safe and secure, particularly as I was there alone with my baby the first couple of nights. I felt really safe knowing it was just us and the neighbours who could get past the gates. That was a massive plus for us.

Lucy the host was absolutely amazing! So warm and personable. Lucy gave us some great tips of where to visit which was super handy for us having never been to Margate.

Lucy is a brilliant host. She gave us lots of information, especially about parking in the town, which for a couple of us who have mobility problems, was vital. We packed so much in during our short stay.
Lucy recommended Alfie's Fish and Chips - walkable and awesome, plus other restaurants we will try when we come again.
The cottage is quirky and charming, spotless and well equipped. Everything worked! It would be an ideal place for families, friends, young and old (us).

  AMAZING home with lots of space for a large family or group of friends, fully furnished with everything you need. The kitchen-dining-living area offers great facilities and the perfect space... read more for a cozy gathering while outdoors the house has the ideal garden space for pretty much anything too. The place also benefits from private parking which is very rare in this location of town. The main beach and the Old Town where you'd find great restaurants, independent shops and art galleries are only a short walk away. Lucy and John were so accommodating to our needs and were always at hand if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

It was... read more a great base for us as it only took 10-15 mins to walk to Margate seafront and a short drive to Whitstable and Broadstairs. We explored the Shell Grotto, the caves, and of course had an amazing time at Dreamland. The hosts were fantastic – so friendly, quick to reply, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot on – the Old Market Place was our favourite spot for food.It was such a perfect family break with so much to do right on the doorstep. We would 100% recommend Dream Land Cottage and can’t wait to come back!
